George had trained for many years under the late John Schmiedlin.

    Attending seminars, demonstrations and courses on taxidermy sponsored by Jonas Bros. of Denver Colorado and airbrush technique from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, George has honed his skills above the rest.

    The Sullivan Studio specializes in all types of mountings. George's personal specialty is large displays of groups of game animals and birds, bringing nature indoors for enjoyment of everyone.

    Taxidermy is George's full time business. Not his hobby. The Sullivan Studio is a large commercial facility with a spacious show room.

    The Sullivan Studio is not a tannery - all mounts are professionally tanned and moth proofed.  Sullivan Studio uses conventional and freeze dry methods using the highest quality materials available.
